Beauty With Purpose Takes Centre Stage at Dublin Multicultural Event

Beauty, culture and community education came together in Dublin during the first Miss & Mrs Cross Continent pageant. Held at the Church of Scientology & Community Centre in Dublin, the gathering featured 24 contestants from seven different nations and an audience of about 450 people. The pageant was organised by Miss & Mrs Cross Continent Events Ltd., with support from Broccoli Care Ltd. and cooperation from The Truth About Drugs Ireland. Drug education formed an important part of the event, with guided exhibition tours introducing visitors to information about commonly used drugs. Several contestants completed online drug-education courses before the event, with some finishing all fourteen modules. Cllr. Francis Timmons, Mayor of South Dublin, spoke during the programme about the importance of bringing communities together through education. Guests enjoyed performances representing Irish, Indian and Indonesian traditions throughout the afternoon. Niveditha Vudayagiri, a software engineer with a master’s degree in artificial intelligence, was crowned Miss Cross Continent 2026.
